Darren + Chelsea

This wedding was an absolute dream!! Darren + Chelsea tied the knot on a beautiful September day in the Shenandoah Valley. The color palette that they chose was mix of greenery, purples, and gray that resulted in a simple yet elegant style. Their wedding was held at The Granary in Weyers Cave, Virginia! This venue is one of my favorites for its refined rustic aesthetics and the view of the mountain ranges from the ceremony cite!

Darren + Chelsea met casually in college but never really knew each other until they were about to graduate. After being introduced at a billards hall, the two were practically inseparable!

From our first phone call, I knew that Chelsea + Darren were going to be so much fun to work with! Their bubbly personalities and love radiated the conversation and I left ecstatic for their wedding day! One of my favorite moments from their wedding was listening to the toasts given by their family and friends. Each one spoke to the character and quality of people that both Darren + Chelsea are. Their lives are lived by serving and loving their family + friends well and I absolutely love that!! There wasn’t a dry eye in the room!

It was such a joy getting to know Darren + Chelsea better throughout the wedding planning process and I can’t wait to share some of my favorites images (and a highlight video!!) with you!! Fun fact: Both are alumni from James Madison University and let me join in on their “JMU friends” picture! I love when my clients become friends!!
