Bridesmaids proposals

Putting together a beautiful bridesmaid’s proposal has probably been one of my favorite wedding activities so far. I’m always looking for an excuse to get crafty and pull out my Cricut so this was the perfect opportunity!

First, I choose my bridesmaids. My sister is going to be my Maid of Honor and I will have 6 friends from high school and college stand by my side as I say “I do”! After that, it was time to research on Pinterest 🙂

I decided that I wanted the proposal to include a gift that would be used at the wedding, as well as something fun for each girl personally. Since I hadn’t chosen dresses yet, it didn’t make sense for me to get jewelry or a hair piece. I’ve always loved the photos of bridesmaids getting ready in matching robes so I thought that would be the perfect item — practical for the wedding AND after!

The robes had to be unique. I didn’t want just a basic solid color or lace. Amazon had the most beautiful floral print robes that were completely different than anything I had ever seen before! They were blush with watercolor florals all over! Naturally, I ordered all 7 that night 🙂

Putting together the proposal, I used white card stock boxes and white crinkle paper. I included the robe, a small candle, and some faux floral accents. To personalize each, I used my brand new Cricut (thanks mom!) and added the wording to the inside lid and their name to the outside. I tied everything up neatly with a huge blush bow!

I was very happy with the way that the proposals turned out! BUT my favorite part was giving them to each of my dear friends. I got a spectrum of reactions all the way from crying to jumping up and down from excitement! I am so lucky to have all of these amazing women in my life and couldn’t imagine tying the knot without them by my side 🙂
