Tyler + Sallie got married on a crisp October day in the Shenandoah Valley. The color palette that they chose was mix of earthy tones including burgundy, blush, and neutrals that gave the day a whimsical, inviting feel. Their wedding was held at Hermitage Hill Farm in Waynesboro, Virginia (located near Staunton)! This venue doubles as a brewery and horse stable and is absolutely stunning!
Sallie + Tyler met at James Madison University and were together for almost 7 years before they tied the knot! He proposed the his family’s river house while they were celebrating Memorial Day! The proposal was so special to Sallie because all of the people they loved most were able to witness and celebrate with them after!
Incorporating family into their wedding was Sallie + Tyler’s number one priority for the day! They were excited to have a big party where all of their loved ones would be together! Perhaps my favorite way they incorporated family into the wedding was by having Sallie’s brother officiate the wedding ceremony! What a privilege it was to watch them commit their lives to each other with family and friends surrounding them, literally!
It was such a joy getting to know Tyler + Sallie better throughout the wedding planning process and I can’t wait to share some of my favorites images from their big day!! Fun fact: We had some very special guests for cocktail hour… you’ll have to scroll to see for yourself!
Huge thank you to Natalie Jayne Photography for sharing these stunning images and the rest of the vendor team!!
